PRICE PROTECTION PLANS
  1) Fixed Price Pre-Buy Plan

    • Purchase & pay for fuel, in advance, at a guaranteed price. No change,
      regardless of whether other prices increase or decrease.
    • Prepay start of the season.
    • Automatic delivery.
    • Available for #2 fuel or kerosene.

  2) Credit Approved No Fee Price Cap Budget Plan

    • Monthly budget payments, spread over 10 - 12 months. Due 15th of each month.
      (based on annual usage - may be adjusted as usage dictates).
    • Price has a fixed range with a specified cap and floor price.  Deliveries made
      during contracted plan year, will not exceed the cap price, as long as account
      is current.  Contact our office for further details.
    • Automatic delivery.
    • Available for #2 fuel or kerosene. (400 gal. min./year)
    • Option to include service contracts with your budget payments.

CREDIT & TERMS

Our payment terms for Fuel Oil are:

C.O.D. (Cash on Delivery) - Unless the customer has completed a credit application and is approved by our credit department.   This requires that a customer pay for the delivery, in advance.  This can be done in person, at either of our oil offices or any of our Xpress Stop Convenience Stores.  The customer may also be at home and pay the driver for the delivery before the fuel is pumped, or the customer may leave a check - in a predetermined location on the premises, for the driver to collect before delivering. 
* We also accept credit cards.

Ok to Charge - Requires approved credit application -  Customers may charge the delivery to their account,  but the balance must be paid off within the 30 day terms.  Only one additional delivery can be made to that account during that  30 day period, before the first load is paid for.

Load to Load - Requires approved credit application - Customers also have 30 day terms, but cannot get another delivery until the previous delivery is paid in full.

Co-Op Customers - Groups receiving special pricing from J&S Oil must also complete a credit application.   Prior to approval, they are considered C.O.D.  Once a completed credit application has been approved, in order to receive the group discount or co-op price, payment must be received within 10 days of delivery.  If the delivery is not paid for within 10 days, the price reverts to the listed charge price that was in effect on the day of the delivery and they will have the 30 day charge terms.

Our payment terms for Service are:

Service Department Work - The payment terms for service work are 10 days, with approved credit. 
 
Service Contract -  Service Contracts may be budgeted over ten months, with approval.  Call for details.
